Export video from vegas pro 15
Hopefully with Hitfilm dropping version/year numbers from the name this next fix will be the last. This would be consistent with infamous "hack," with earlier versions which really was basically changing the name in a file to point to the correct Hitfilm application name. Especially as, internally, Hitfilm's gone from v6 to v8 in a very short period of time. Immediate guess is that at the Vegas end the integration library is looking for something called "Hitfilm 2017" and getting confused by the current drop in version/year numbers. When Vegas shifted from Sonic Foundry to Sony many Vegas scripts stopped working because the internal call was looking for "Sonic Foundry Vegas" but now needed to be "Sony Vegas." The same issue happened with the change from Sony to Magix.

Windows 10 just speculation here, but Vegas has used "named" internal calls for decades. Also Express 2017 Projects seem to work just fine.Īny help resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. (Vegas seems to create a Project file from an older Hitfilm version). It appears, that the integration works first time, when creating a file, even when upgrading the file. I also tried saving to a different filename and importing the composite shot into a new file, still with no luck. I also tried reinstalling both Vegas and Hitfilm.
Vegas shows the "Add Hitfilm effect" option on the offline clips, leading me to believe, Vegas somehow does not recognize the files as Hitfilm Project. I also could open the files properly in Express, just not in Vegas.
I tried creating a new Hitfilm Project of another clip which worked fine. Today I came back to the project: Vegas reported an error with the files. I then upgraded all Express files in my latest Project to the new Version from Express 2017. I just installed the latest Version of Hitfilm Express, making shure I checked "Vegas Pro 15 integration".
